Renovations and alterations were made to the existing building from 1917.  The updates included opening the first floor plan and a redistribution of bedroom spaces on the upper floor.  The design connects the previously isolated kitchen, dining room, and den for a space capable of hosting large family holidays.  The foyer was remodeled to accommodate a powder room and give clear access through the house and to a porch wrapping around the side and rear of the residence.
