Founded in 2001 by Stephen J. Carlidge, AIA, Shore Point Architecture, P.A. is a service oriented architectural design firm providing innovative and cost-effective design services across a wide range of project types. Our ever growing portfolio of work includes commercial, corporate, municipal, academic, hospitality and residential projects. Residential work ranges from single-family custom homes to multi-family structures and includes a significant commitment to affordable housing. Much of the firm's work involves designing mixed-use facilities featuring two or more different uses in a single structure. The firm has also developed a significant expertise in preservation architecture. Our office is located in a national historic district and the firm takes great pride in restoring and reinvigorating historic structures. We see design as a highly collaborative endeavor and strive to involve many staff members, engineering consultants and most importantly, the client, in the design of each and every project. We initiate every design with an open mind and see each and every project as a unique opportunity to develop a solution that responds directly to the client's program, aspirations, budget and schedule.
